During the past few years we have been working hard to create a more ecological and sustainable industry. We have focused on new ways of production and we have innovated with new techniques and products. We strongly believe that the answer to a more eco friendly industry is in our roots and that is why we have incorporated balsa wood as a main material to create our boards. This wood is carefully planted in Costa Rican territory. It is cut, dried and the selection process is taken care of by local experts, who also are in charge of the reforestation of these areas to make sure that the soil will be fertilized for the new trees creating a sustainable system of plantations. When it gets to our hands we carry out tests with different organic fibres and resins from different parts of the world to achieve the best quality. Through this process we are headed towards an eco friendly process in which creating the best surfboard of your life is done in the most natural way possible. We also include waste recycling from our PU, wood and resin leftovers in our production chain.
